What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support engineer to join our IT Team. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy individual with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for IT support. This is a part-time role, where you will work in-office two days a week and you’ll be available for support from home as overtime. In addition,you’ll provide critical support to ensure the smooth operation of our internal systems and devices.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Help Desk / IT Support.
  • Experience with handling IT tasks on MacOS and Windows OS.
  • Well experienced in supporting end-user desktop applications such as internet browsers, printing, Antivirus etc.
  • Knowledge of networking components and infrastructure (Lan/Wan, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Advantages

  • Ability to write scripts and automate tasks using Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with managing network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

Responsibilities


  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, email and slack.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Install and troubleshoot end user equipment, software, hardware, multimedia and telecommunications systems.
  • Ensure seamless operation of Windows and MacOS operating systems for employees.
  • Follow standard IT procedures, logging all IT interactions and administering IT software.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Manage and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Document and track issues and solutions to improve response times and efficiency.
  • (Optional/Preferred) Automate tasks and procedures to improve IT processes.
